WWE Divas champion Natalya and Beth Phoenix defeated Layla El and Naomi. Naomi (NXT Season 3) worked heel on this tour since Michelle McCool had the week off, sans TV. Big reaction from the crowd when Natalya displayed her title belt. They did the deal where the heels show off on the ropes, only to get booed and the babyfaces then outdo their reaction. Layla did some stretching to warm up, only to get chased out of the ring by Beth. The crowd was all over Layla early, chanting “You suck.” Beth went after her again but Layla tried her arms and legs around the ropes and screamed. She finally tagged in Naomi. Naomi ducked a clothesline and slapped Phoenix in the back of the head. Unfazed, Phoenix tossed her into the corner, unloaded with punches, then a slam for a two count. The babyfaces nailed a double hiptoss. Naomi tagged out. She and Layla had words. Natalya controlled Layla but was cut off with a kick to the gut. Natalya leapfrogged Layla then caught her in a reverse cradle for a two. She nailed a hesitation suplex for another two count. Natalya went for another slam but Layla slipped out and used a kick to knock the champ out through the ropes. Natalya was left hanging upside down, where she was Layla stepped on her throat. Layla kicked her to the floor, where Naomi attacked. Natalya was almost counted out. Layla’s heel reaction to this was hilarious as she sat on the top rope motioning to the crowd. Natalya barely made it back in, where the heels continued working on her and getting two counts. Natalya fought out of a rear chinlock but was slammed backwards to the mat by her hair by Naomi. Naomi dropped a leg for a two count. The heels kept working over Natalya as Beth argued with the referee, allowing more damage to be done. Layla, who was doing a great job working the crowd, cinched in bodyscissors on the champ. Natalya finally powered out and up to her feet. She went for a slam but her back gave out and Layla got a two count. She dragged Natalya back and tagged in Naomi, who stomped away. Natalya kicked her off and made the hot tag to Phoenix. Phoenix cleaned house but was kicked off as she went for a charge by Naomi. Naomi went for a high cross bodyblock off the middle turnbuckle only to be caught and slammed for a two count. Layla kicked Beth as she rebounded off the ropes and Naomi tossed her out. They then nailed Natalya off the apron. Kelly Kelly came to their aid and the heels doubled on her and tossed her into the ring. She was saved by the faces, who tossed Naomi out. Beth nailed the Glam Slam on Layla for the pin. Remarkably better than the Divas tag I saw on the Raw show a few days back. A really well put together match. Naomi needs work but showed promise as a heel. Layla was great here and the babyfaces all did their job well.
WWE Divas Champion Natalya & Beth Phoenix b. LayCool. The finish saw Natalya lock Layla in the Sharpshooter when Michelle McCool came in to break it up. Beth ended up getting tagged in and getting the pin.

Since the next 2 days are gonna be super busy for me and I probably won’t have any time to get on my computer until after Christmas I just want to wish everyone who visits the site a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! Thank you all for everything and I hope you have a great weekend!
Michelle McCool and Layla versus Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix
Michelle and Beth start things off and Michelle with a kick and side head lock. Beth with a shoulder tackle and Michelle goes down and regrets starting off the match. Layla gets tagged in and she gets taken down on the collar and elbow tie up. Layla isn’t happy that she is in the ring and Michelle doesn’t want to get back in. Beth carries Layla into the turnbuckles and Kelly is tagged in and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Kelly throws Layla’s head into the mat. Beth tags back in and hits a slingshot suplex and gets a near fall. Beth with a front face lock and then she sends Layla into Michelle and both women go to the floor. Layla sees Beth at the ropes and Kelly with a baseball slide through Beth’s legs. Beth hits Layla on the floor as we go to commercial.
We are back and Kelly hits a handspring back splash on Layla. Layla with kicks to Kelly and Michelle is tagged back in. Kelly with a head scissors take down followed by a Thesz Press and she slams Kelly’s head into the mat. Michelle with a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Michelle kicks Kelly and then connects with a series of knees to Kelly’s back. Kelly gets thrown back to the mat and then Michelle does push ups on top of Kelly. Michelle sends Kelly into the turnbuckles and Layla gets tagged back in. Layla with a snap mare and kick to the back. Kelly with a rollup but the referee did not see the cover because he was too busy dealing with Beth. Layla with a body scissors on Kelly and she grabs the ropes and the referee makes her release the hold.
Layla with an Irish whip and Michelle is tagged back in. Kelly gets out of a belly-to-back suplex and Kelly slaps Michelle. Kelly tries to make the tag but Michelle keeps Kelly away from Beth. Layla tags back in and she stands on Kelly’s hair. Layla runs Kelly into the turnbuckles again and she connects with shoulders. Kelly moves when Layla charges into the corner but Layla keeps Kelly from making the tag. Layla goes to the turnbuckles but misses a leg drop.
Beth is able to tag in and Layla begs for mercy and goes into the turtle position. Beth knocks Michelle off the apron and then she chops Layla. Beth with an elbow and then she hits a clothesline from the turnbuckles for a near fall when Michelle interferes. Michelle wants to tag in but Layla is stopped by Beth. Michelle accidentally kicks Layla and Beth with a Polish Hammer on Michelle. Beth hits the Glam Slam on Layla for the three count.
Todd Grisham is with Beth Phoenix in the interview area and he asks Beth about how she is feeling. Beth says that she is thankful that she isn’t hurt any more. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov stop by and Santino says that he wanted to see if she is okay. Beth says that she is okay. Santino says that he is very happy for her and suggests that they do one of their famous lip locks. Vladimir has some mistletoe and Beth asks Santino if he is seeing Tamina. Santino says that what happens on Smackdown stays on Smackdown. Beth decides to kiss Vladimir instead. Santino says that he wants to know where she went. Vladimir says that she vanished. Santino notices the lipstick and suggests in his broken English that they kissed. Santino storms off as we go to commercial.

#21 – Meeting her Makeover
This will forever be remember as the year Michelle McCool & Layla lost their damn minds. After linking up in late 2009, team Lay-Cool made life hell for every Diva in the WWE locker room, including Beth Phoenix. After weeks of accusing The Glamazon of not being ladylike, Michelle was forced to defend her Women’s Championship against Beth in a first ever Extreme Makeover Match at Extreme Rules in April. A unique bout in which beauty products like lipstick and hairspray could be used as weapons, the brutal match was won by The Fabulous Firebird, but the embarrassing lost did nothing to squash the inflated egos of team Lay-Cool.

#11 – Over the Top
29 men and 1 women entered January’s Royal Rumble over the course of an hour and battered each other in a war of attrition for the opportunity to compete for a World Title at Wrestlemania XXVI. As expected, it was nothing short of epic. With CM Punk preaching to the crowd between eliminations and Beth Phoenix becoming only the second female to compete in the Rumble, this event was full of shockers. But it was the unexpected return of Edge as the 30th entrant that truly sent the WWE Universe into frenzy.

Date: February 19th, 2012 Show: Elimination Chamber Results: Beth Phoenix is up against her biggest competition yet since becoming Divas Champions. She must take on the 2nd generation Diva Tamina Snuka for her championship. Tamina quickly proves why she is the #1 contender for the title really pushing Beth to her limits. Toward the end of the match Tamina hits the Superfly Splash, but Beth kicks out leaving Tamina baffled.
