Since Beth won’t be appearing on Smackdown this week I thought it be fun (and thanks to a suggestion in the chat box!) to maybe do a rewind when Beth doesn’t appear on TV or a PPV so we can get our dose of Beth for the week. Since the Road to Wrestlemania has officially started and with just over a month until Wrestlemania 27 we are looking back at Beth’s first ever Wrestlemania appearance. Beth teamed with Melina at Wrestlemania 24 in a Bunnymania Lumberjills match and took on former Playboy Divas Ashley & Maria. Beth and Melina ended up winning the match after Beth GlamSlammed Maria and pinned her.

After weeks of inactivity, Beth teamed with Eve in a losing effort on SmackDown.

Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix versus Maryse and Layla with Michelle McCool
Maryse and Beth start things off and Maryse slaps Beth. Maryse realizes what she did and she tries to get out of the ring but Beth grabs her before she can make her escape. Beth picks up Maryse by the leg and sends her into the turnbuckles. While this happens, Michelle wonders why Eve is the champion because she points out that she had Natalya covered at the same time. Beth punches Maryse followed by an Irish whip and hits a splash into the corner. Beth with a clothesline and she gets a near fall.

Layla tags in and she kicks Beth in the hip and she has Beth by the wrist but Beth gets free and she sends Layla to the mat. Beth picks up Layla by the arm and sends her back to the mat. Eve tags in and hits a few drop kicks. Eve with an Irish whip and she charges into a boot from Layla, but Eve blocks the kicks and she spins Layla around and hits a suplex and floats over to get a near fall.

Eve with a forearm and a sunset flip but Layla rolls through and hits a clothesline on Eve. Layla misses a round kick but Eve hits a series of kicks and a clothesline. This forces Michelle to get up from the announce table and she goes to the ring and yells at Eve. Beth punches Michelle in her injured leg. Maryse and Layla double team Eve with kicks and Layla gets the three count.

Winners: Layla and Maryse

Beth will FINALLY be returning to our televisions! Beth will have a part on this weeks Smackdown which will be their 600th show. Highlight the box below to see what she’ll be up to.

Current Divas Champion Eve Torres had an interview with the Miami Herald while she was down in Miami promoting next years Wrestlemania that will take place there and during the interview she revealed who she would like to wrestle in the future. Check out what she said below.

“I’d say one of the divas I look up to the most and hope to wrestle someday is Beth Phoenix. She is someone who has worked hard for everything she has gotten. She is such a strong, beautiful, powerful woman. I think she represents the divas well.”

Instead of giving us a new shoot for Valentines Day WWE.com has reposted yet again old photos from the Divas “With Love…” shoot from 2 years ago. Although the did post a colored version in the Week in Photos section, but nothing new. Wish we could get some unreleased photos from this shoot, but oh well. Revisit the shoot up in our gallery.
